SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Former Anchorge Buc, Saint Mary's first baseman Collin Ferguson has been named to the All-West Coast Conference Preseason Team, according to a poll of conference coaches released Wednesday.
The 6-foot-2 left-handed swinging first baseman earned All-WCC honorable mention in 2013 for hitting .293 with four home runs, 17 doubles and 91 total bases. He was as dependable as he was productive, appearing in all 55 Saint Mary's games and starting 53. Not just a hitter, Ferguson returns for his junior season as one of the top glove men at his position.
Ferguson is joined by plenty of talented players on the All-WCC Preseason Team.
