Week 1: June 3 to June 12 Mike Mandarino (Cumberland) of the Southern Maryland Nationals was named the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League Player of the Week for the week of June 3 to June 12. Mandarino hit three home runs for the red-hot Nationals, who did not lose a game in their first seven contests. Mandarino also doubled twice and collected seven singles to go 12-for-32 (.375) overall. He knocked in nine runs (most in the League) and scored eight. Mandarino hit safely in all seven Nationals wins and collected multiple hits in four of those seven games. He hit two of his three home runs in one game against the Braves on June 9. Mandarino also appeared in three games on the mound for the Nationals, winning one of them and striking out nine batters in 11.1 total innings-pitched.

Kelly Secrest (UNC-Wilmington) of the Bethesda Big Train was named the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League Pitcher of the Week for the week of June 3 to June 12. Secrest won his first two starts of the season without allowing a run or a walk. The lefty went six innings of three-hit ball on opening night and struck out seven in a win over the Baltimore Redbirds. He followed that up with five innings of shutout baseball against the Braves on June 10, striking out two batters while scattering six hits.
