FRONT OFFICEPerry Bowles DIRECTOR OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS
Bowles has 12 years of managerial experience in Junior hockey, and is coming off a two-year stint as a director with the Ontario Hockey Association. He previously served as general manager of the Cougars during the 2007season until the end of the 2008/09 season. Some of Perry's accomplishments include helping guide the Bowmanville Eagles Jr. 'A' team to the OJHL Eastern Conference Championships in both the 2004 and 2006 season, and being selected in 2005 to take an Eastern Canada Jr. 'A' Prospects team to the CJHL Prospects game in Vernon, B.C.. Bowles has played an instrumental role in helping many players move on to higher levels of hockey, including James Neal of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. Bowles' vision for the Cougars has, from the start, involved a team blending youth with experience, speed with physical play, and character on and off of the ice. His template in building the Cougars is based on moves that help the club not just for the present, but for long term success toward the goal of an OJHL championship in Cobourg. Perry and his wife Paula have two children, sons' Kevin and Justin.
