Mark McIntosh of Elora Signs Letter of Intent with Collingwood Blues

The Collingwood Blues are pleased to announce winger Mark McIntosh of Elora, Ontario has signed his OJHL Letter of Intent to report to Collingwood. McIntosh, 16, comes off his most recent season suiting up for the Guelph Jr Gryphons Midget AAA.

General Manager Mike Tarantino had this to say on McIntosh at the time of the commitment “Mark has driven the offence the past couple seasons, he’s a weapon up front Collingwood will not soon forget.”

Mark will turn 17 in September and is expected to be a big part of the future in Collingwood. He comes to Collingwood after a successful year at AAA in Guelph as assistant captain. McIntosh was a 13th round selection in last year's OHL priority selection, but is expected to pursue the NCAA route and bypass his OHL eligibility.

Last season he put up 16 goals and 28 assists for 44 points in 31 games with 32 penalty minutes. Mark weighs in at 174 lbs measuring 5 foot 10 inches.
