Founded in 1978, Drexel Ice Hockey has a rich tradition as one of the premier Ice Hockey Universities in Philadelphia. Over the years, Drexel Ice Hockey has grown in size with the introduction of a Division II Team. The Division I ACHA team participates in the Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association (ECHA), while the Division II Team participates in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association. Housing over sixty student-athletes, Drexel Ice Hockey provides the opportunity for players to engage in high level competition while also receiving higher education from a world-class comprehensive research institution.
