KINGS RALLY TO BEAT BANDITS

Foxboro, MA- The South Shore Kings rallied with four unanswered third period goals to defeat the Bandits 6-4. The Kings were slow out of the gate, falling behind 4-0 themselves after 21 minutes of play. TJ Ryan started the Kings comeback with a goal 4:01 into the second period from Chad O'Brien and Daniel McGinnis. Tyler Piacentini cut the Bandits lead in half with a goal from Dean Niezgoda and Jimmy Vesey 15:44 into the second period.

 

The Kings came out strong in the third period by scoring a shorthanded goal by Nick Bligh 1:09 into the third period. Jimmy Vesey and Edward Nolan assisted on the play. Shane Walsh scored the game tying goal thirty-five seconds later from Derek Colucci and Nick Cruice. Walsh would also score the game winning goal 11:07 into the third period from Derek Colucci and Mike Reardon. Mike Readon added an empty net goal from Derek Colucci with four seconds left in the game to seal the Kings victory.

 

The Kings take on the Bay State Breakers at the Bog on Saturday February 11th at 4:00 PM.
