WSHL Coaches![]() Head Coach Bryce Dale
bdale@fresnomonsters.com A native of Fresno, California, Dale enters his 3rd season with the WSHL Monsters. In the previous two seasons with the Monsters, Dale amassed a regular season winning record of 82-8-1. In the 2011-2012 season, Dale lead the Monsters to the WSHL regular season title as well as the organization's first Western Division Championship. While coaching the Monsters, Dale has helped produce over 10 NCAA Division III and ACHA players. Coach Dale was also named coach of the 2010-2011 WSHL Best of the Rest team that competed at the Tier III National Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota. Before joining the Monsters, Bryce played for the IHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks in the 2009-2010 season. Before Muskegon, Dale played four years of hockey for Utica College while earning a Bachelors Degree in Economics. While playing for Utica College, Dale was team captain in his junior and senior years. At the time he closed his college career, Dale was fifth all-time in scoring in school history, and was also the recipient of Utica's Unsung Hero Award his freshman year. Academically, Bryce earned honors with the multiple ECAC West All Academic Team awards and was a Utica College Dean's List student. Bryce played his junior hockey in the BCHL from 2002-05, suiting up for the Williams Lake Timberwolves and Penticton Panthers. Prior to playing in British Columbia, Dale played for the Helena Bighorns in their 2001-2002 inaugural season. Bryce was also a USHL draft pick of the Sioux Falls Stampede and an AWHL draft pick of the Helena Bighorns in 2001. ![]() Assistant Coach Brian Rivera |
