All managers that will be listed on a roster must register with USA Hockey and HPHL this season. See the registration page for more information.
Get ready for the 2012 season!
-Advertise your team at the school(s), local rinks, pro-shops, etc…
-Schedule an informational meeting for your players/parents.
* Provide information about the upcoming season.
* Begin collecting fees (many teams will charge either the jv fee or half of the total cost if no jv team prior to tryouts; with the rest due prior to the start of practices or games).
* Begin collecting paperwork. See list on right of what to collect.
* Encourage players to register early!
-Sign up for your CAHA background check if you have not already done so this fall.
Are you ready for your first games? Below is an outline telling you what needs to be done before games, during games, and after games; also the roster template to be used for submitting rosters to Rob.
Grade Policy:
Players must submit their most recent report card (on school letterhead) at the start of the season and again prior to playoffs.
They must show meet the following criteria:
a 2.0 average on this report card (not 2.0 cumulative gpa) and
no F's
AP or Honors classes count one grade higher, ie; C=B, B=A, except an F=F.
If grades are low, the player may obtain an updte showing current grades in all current classes. This must be signed by the counselor or each teacher. Once the update showing adequate grades has been submitted and approved the player is eligible to play in games. Players are allowed to practice while working on improving grades.
Make sure your scorekeepers have read and are familiar with the following information! Scoresheets Below is a downloadable balnk scoresheet. You would need to write in all of your players if using this version. You can also download scoresheets for your games from pointtreak. Those will have the players entered. You will need to cross out anyoone not playing in that game and add anyone not listed prior to giving it to your scorekeeper. Gate Fees There is a gate fee of $2 for all varsity games. Children 10 and under are free, as are JV players wearing their team jersey or jacket. JV and Girls games do not have an admission fee for regular season games. Below is an admission sign that can be used for varsity games. Security Varsity games will have security provided by either off duty officers or security guards.
