NEWSDate: Mar 12, 2010 HUNTSVILLE HANDLES COLUMBUSCOLUMBUS, GA- Dan McWhinney stopped 36 of 37 shots he faced as the Huntsville Havoc went on the road and scored a 3-1 win over the Columbus Cottonmouths. Justin Rohr put the Havoc on the board with 2:02 in the first period when he found the back of the net. Brett Liscomd and Travis Kauffeldt had the assists. The Havoc extended the lead to 2-0 in the second period when Andrew Schembri scored his first goal of the season for the Havoc on the powerplay. Mike Carter and Chris Myers had the assists. Columbus would cut the lead to 2-1 on a Brent Clarke goal late in the second and the Havoc had a 2-1 lead after two periods of play. Mike MacDonald finished the scoring early in the third period.
