Rogues Front Office

Your Medford Rogues Front Office staff is here to assist you with anything we can to make your Harry & David Field experience a more pleasant one. Feel free to call us, e-mail, come by the press box offices or call us directly with any questions or concerns you might have. Thank you for letting us be a part of your summer fun!

Ian Church, General Manager

Church, 33, joins the Rogues after playing for and graduating from Stetson University and spending six years as a minor league player. After his playing career, Church put his focus on the overall development of baseball players, their athleticism, and their preparation to compete. He has successfully opened two indoor athletic facilities: ProSwing of Port Chester in Westchester, NY and most recently Pro Performance Athletics in Mount Pleasant, SC. Church is married to Viktoria and they have a one-year-old son, Vladi.

As a player, Church had his best year in 2006, belting 31 home runs for the Frontier League's Kalamazoo Kings, where he was named Baseball America's "Independent Player of the Year," Frontier League MVP and All Star Game MVP as well as winning the league's All Star Game Home Run Derby. He has also played in the Mexican Pacific League with Los Algodoneros de Guasave, spent four years with various Northern League teams and played high-A ball in the Florida State League with the St. Louis Cardinals organization.

Rogues Broadcast Team

Bill Jacobs & Emma Tiedemann bring you the fun!

The Rogues are proud to join with ESPN 580 and Valley Immediate Care to present our 2015 Broadcast Team, Bill Jacobs and Emma Tiedemann.

A fixture in Southern Oregon TV and radio for more than 25 years, Bill Jacobs returns for another season of Rogues action. Bill (pictured left) is currently the voice of Southern Oregon University sports and Ashland High School football.

A native of Dallas, Texas and senior at the University of Missouri, Emma has been broadcasting since age 15, introduced to the business by her grandfather, legendary North Texas broadcaster Bill Mercer. At Missouri, Emma broadcasts Missouri sports including the 2014 Texas A&M - Missouri football game and the 2014 Cotton Bowl. In 2014 Emma spent the summer in Alaska as the play-by-play voice of the Alaska Summer League's Mat-Su Miners.

Our Staff

Tess Hyer, 2015 Intern

Tess, a senior at Southern Oregon University, comes to us with a wealth of experience, working with the SOU Athletics Department. Originally from Winters, California, Tess fell in love with Oregon and hopes to gain more experience in the sales and marketing aspects of the sports industry. As an avid sports fan, she cannot wait to work with the Medford Rogues!

Tess will cover many areas in business operations, game-day staff and show preparation and tickets sales, and will be a great asset in promoting the Rogues through social and traditional media throughout the off-season and summer. She is also part of our sales and marketing team that will make our 2015 "Fill the Park Friday" promotion a great success. Tess joins the Rogues immediately while remaining with the Raider Athletic Department through the school year and completing her studies at SOU.
