History

The Northern Pacific Hockey League enters its 11^th season this year. NORPAC started with six teams located in Oregon, Washington, the Yukon Territory and Alaska. The league has change in its 11 years. NORPAC has 8 active teams this season located in Oregon, Washington, Montana and Wyoming.

NORPAC started as a Junior B league and switch to Tier III Junior A in 2007/2008 eight season. The league’s talent level has risen every year and each season it gains more respect on a national level. The goal for NORPAC is to develop great hockey players on and off the Ice.

The leagues’ teams are are: the Seattle Totems, Eugene Generals, Yellowstone Quake, Butte Roughriders, Southern Oregon Spartans, Glacier Nationals, Puget Sound Tomahawks and the River City Jaguars. For the first time since the 2005-06 season, each team will play each other home and away in the 2011-12 season.

The teams play for the Cascade Cup Trophy. Each team provides video all their home games.
