History

The Northern Pacific Hockey League enters its 11th season this year. NORPAC started with six teams located in Oregon, Washington, the Yukon Territory and Alaska. The league has change in its 11 years. NORPAC has 8 active teams this season located in Oregon, Washington, Montana and Wyoming.

NORPAC started as a Junior B league and switch to Tier III Junior A in 2007/2008 eight season. The league’s talent level has risen every year and each season it gains more respect on a national level. The goal for NORPAC is to develop great hockey players on and off the Ice.

The leagues’ teams are are: the Seattle Totems, Eugene Generals, Yellowstone Quake, Butte Roughriders, Southern Oregon Spartans, Glacier Nationals, Puget Sound Tomahawks and the River City Jaguars. For the first time since the 2005-06 season, each team will play each other home and away in the 2011-12 season.

The teams play for the Cascade Cup Trophy. Each team provides video all their home games.
