The Eugene Generals traveled to play the Puget Sound Tomahawks on Thursday for the final time this season. The Generals beat the Tomahawks 5-1. After a scoreless first period, Christian Merritt score the first goal of the game 55 seconds into the period. Kyle Blondin tied the game on a powerplay goal assisted by Bradley Reeves. The Generals pulled away in the third with goals by: Justin Huelsman, Blake Bishop, Brad Main and Theo Campe. 12:31 into the third period seven players received fighting game misconducts for a brawl that happened between the two teams. Theo Campe, Brad Main and Ryan McDonald had two points in the game. The Generals traveled to Beaverton to play the River City Jaguars on Friday and Saturday night. The Jaguars won Friday's game 5-4. Maksim Firsov scored the first goal of the game with an assist by Brandon Burlingame 6:30 into the game. Ryan McDonald scored the Generals first goal tying the game at one. Firsov scored two goals 28 seconds apart giving the Jaguars a 3-1 lead at the first intermission. Ryan McDonald scored his second goal of the game 1:53 into the period assisted by Theo Campe. Noah Dolinajec extended the Jaguars lead to 4-2 after two. McDonald scored his third goal in the game cutting the Jaguars lead to 4-3. Brad Main tied the game in the third after Sean Park shot went off the post with less then four minutes to play. Dolinajec scored the game-winning goal 1:02 into the extra period giving the Jaguars their first win against the Generals this season. McDonald (3), Theo Campe (2) and Christian Merritt all had multiple points in the game. McDonald and Firsov both had hat tricks for their respective teams. The Generals finished the weekend 2-1 with a 7-0 win against the Jagaurs on Saturday night. Blake Bishop scored a powerplay goal 17:25 into the period assisted by Eric Watters. The Generals scored five goals at the 12:00 mark of the second period with Ryan McDonald scoring the first goal. Brad Main and Sean Park scored two goals 56 seconds apart. Main scored his second goal of the game 19:27 into the period. Eric Watters scored the fifth goal of the period with four seconds left in the second. Blake Bishop scored the seventh goal for the Generals. The Generals were 5 of 11 on the powerplay. Dylan Woodring saved all 24 shots he faced earning his fourth shut out of the season and his sixth in his junior career. Eric Watters led the Generals in scoring with a goal and three assists. The Puget Sound Tomahawks hosted the Tri-City Titans on Friday and Saturday at the Bremerton Ice Arena. The Tomahawks won 2-1 on Friday. Brandyn Kaufman scored a powerplay goal 7:14 into the first period. After a scoreless second period, Jared Hyatt scored the second goal for the Tomahawks assisted by Derrick Kunzler and Jordan Carpenter. Dave Giguere scored the only goal of the game for the Titans 18:42 into the third. Brain Boyd saved 31 of 32 shot he faced for his eight win of the year. The Titans beat the Tomahawks on Saturday 5-3 being out shot 59-27. Cody Castro scored the only goal in the first period on the powerplay assisted by Dave Giguere. Kaufman tied the game 12:40 into the second period. Jordan Allen gave the Titans a 2-1 lead at the second intermission with his goal 14:53 into the period. Ben Surgalski tied the game at two in the third. Bo Bettinson scored two goals in the third period giving the Titans 4-2 lead. Caleb Garner scored the third goal of the game for the Tomahawks. Jake Kirkpatrick scored the fifth goal of the game for the Titans. Cody Castro, Shawn McElroy, Jake Kirkpatrick and Dave Giguere all had two points in the game. Brandon Amotto improved his record 6-2 saving 56 of 59 shots he faced.
The Totems beat the Wranglers on Saturday day 11-3. Chris Beede scored two powerplay goals giving the Totems a 2-0 lead. Chris Whitten cut the Totems lead in half 13:19 into the first period. Tyler Thompson and Cameran Hoffman scored the third and fourth goals for the Totems giving them a 4-1 lead at intermission. Nelson Aamodt, Josh Twietmeyer and Jamie Thomson scored goals in the second period. Chris Whitten scored his second goal of the game on the powerplay. Tyler Thompson, Chris Beede, Jake Rademacher and Tanner Hawes all had goals in the third period. Mike Feagan score the third goal for the Wranglers. Kristian Ophus (2), Cameran Hoffman (4), Chris Beede (3), Tyler Thompson (4), Stormy Knight (2), Josh Twietmeyer (2), Nelson Aamodt (2), Jake Rademacher (4) and Johnny Buckett (2) all had multiple points in the game.
