TEAM EAST PROSPECTS WIN GAME ONE 4-2
Team East, led by a one goal and one assist performance from Dylan Sikura of the Aurora Tigers, downed Team West 4-2 in the game one of the CJHL Prospects Games held in Digby, Nova Scotia.

Joining Sikura on the scoreboard were Matt Alvaro of the St. Michael's Buzzers with a goal, and Joseph Berton of St. Michael's, Michael Laidley of Aurora and Brett Seney of the Kingston Voyageurs, each with an assist. Aaron Spivak from the Toronto Jr. Canadiens was the lone OJHL player held off the scoresheet during the opening game victory.

Game two of the two game, total goal series will be played on Saturday, November 9 at 3pm EST in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Following the game, at 6pm EST in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Team Canada East will play the Czech Republic in each team's final game of the 2013 World Junior 'A' Challenge. The victorious squad will finish in 5th place for the tournament.
