Georgetown Raiders defenceman Phil Kiss (photo credit - Robert John Boucher/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Curry College Colonels beginning with the 2014-15 ECAC Northeast Conference season.

The Burlington, Ontario native is currently in his fifth OJHL season after kicking off his junior career with nine games as a 16-year old 2009-10 playing for the hometown Cougars.  He joined the club full-time in 2010-11 and would spend the next season and a half with Burlington, notching 14 points in 52 regular season games before a mid-season trade in 2011-12 to the Markham Waxers.  Kiss would greatly improve his offensive output in Markham, recording 22 points in only 28 games, while also getting his first taste of post-season action.  He kicked off 2012-13 as a member of the Newmarket Hurricanes, but after a slow start was moved once again, this time to the Georgetown Raiders for their playoff drive.  Kiss remains with the Raiders this season as one of the club's veteran leaders and an alternate captain, sitting third on the club among rearguards with 18 points in 46 games played thus far.

Congratulations to Phil on the commitment and best of luck as he closes out his junior career!
