SUDDEN VICTORY GAME
Please be advised that there will be a 'Sudden Victory Game' for the eighth and final playoff position in the South-West Conference standings taking place on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville, Ontario with puck drop scheduled for 7:30pm.
The Oakville Blades and Toronto Jr. Canadiens finished tied for eighth place in the South-West Conference standings and following OJHL regulations, the tie-breaker for the final playoff position is to be a Sudden Victory Game.
The Oakville Blades won a coin toss that took place earlier in the week and chose to host the Sudden Victory contest, while the Toronto Jr. Canadiens will be deemed the home team and have final change in the game.
The winner of the game will be the eighth and final seed for the 2014 OJHL playoffs and face the South-West Conference champion Toronto Lakeshore Patriots in the first round beginning later this week, while the other team will have their season end.
