7:00 PM EST

Prior to Saturday night's Mississauga Chargers game, captain Trevor Warnaar was honoured with his OJHL Gongshow Gear South-West Conference Player-of-the-Month Award for January.

On-hand for the presentation (left to right - photo credit: Brian Watts/OJHL Images) was OJHL 1st Vice-Chair and Chargers Governor Lloyd Stockley and OJHL Manager of Hockey Operations Brent Garbutt.  Warnaar, who recorded 11 goals and 22 points in January, was presented with a commemorative award from the OJHL and will receive an apparel package courtesy of Gongshow Gear, the Official Lifestyle Hockey Apparel of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

The Chargers, with the seventh seed already locked up, would fall to the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots 5-1 with Warnaar taking the night off.  Mississauga will now face the West Division champion Buffalo Jr. Sabres in the club's first playoff appearance since 2006-07.

Congratulations to Trevor on the award!
