Tanguay leads Kingston to shutout victory over Pickering

After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Pickering faces elimination next time out.
Kingston was led by Alex Tonge, who finished with one goal. Tonge scored 1:59 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Kingston. Patrick Volpe provided the assist.
The Voyageurs kept the Panthers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Steven Dombrosky made 40 saves on 42 shots.
Michael Casale also scored for Kingston. More assists for Kingston came via Adam Moodie and Brandon OQuinn, who each chipped in one.
Pickering excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Panthers forced Kingston goalie Tanguay to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.
The Voyageurs ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. Kingston ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Cole Bolton was ejected from the game. Pickering totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. For the Panthers, Cam Palmer was ejected from the game.
