O'HARA COMMITS TO CURRY
Stouffville Spirit defenceman Jack O'Hara (photo credit - Michael DiCarlo/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Curry College Colonels beginning with the 2014-15 ECAC Northeast season.
The Toronto, Ontario native joined the Burlington Cougars in 2010-11 as a 17-year old product of the St. Michael's College Secondary School program. The physical rearguard spent two seasons with the Cougars, recording 8 assists and 166 penalty minutes in 84 regular season games. Joining the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots during the off-season, O'Hara took his game to the next level early in the season, notching his first two Junior 'A' goals, along with 13 assists in just 28 games. In early December, O'Hara was moved to the Stouffville Spirit in exchange for Robert Powers and finished the year with career-highs and third among the club's defencemen with 17 points, despite missing most of the final month with an injury that severely hampered the club's push to the playoffs.
Congratulations to Jack and best of luck at Curry!
