Trenton downs Whitby, 3-1

With the win, Trenton evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown.

Trenton also had goals scored by Bobby Polachek and Ryan Kinsella, who scored one goal each. In addition, Trenton received assists from Tyler Mayea, Danny Liscio, and Nick Santoro, who each chipped in one.

Whitby did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

The Fury were led by Taylor Best, who scored the team's only goal. Best scored 12:02 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Marcus Crawford picked up the assist.

Denny Dubblestyne made 20 saves for the Golden Hawks on 21 shots. Trenton incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Boyd Diclemente rejected 22 shots on goal for Whitby. The Fury registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
