Buffalo downs Mississauga in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Mississauga faces elimination next time out.

Buffalo was led by Egan, who had one goal and one assist.

The Jr. Sabres' offense rang up 33 shots on the Chargers' net.

Buffalo additionally got points from Daniel Lafontaine, who also registered one goal and one assist and Nolan Sheeran, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Buffalo included Nick Desimone and Max Mikowski, who each put in one. More assists for Buffalo came via Michael Ederer, who had two and Ryan Schmelzer and Tim Kielich, who contributed one a piece.

The defensemen of Mississauga were also effective in Buffalo's zone, and came away with two goals.

The Chargers were helped by Lucas Venuto, who finished with one goal and one assist. Venuto scored 5:59 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Mitch Mehling picked up the assist. Mississauga also got points from Trevor Warnaar, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Ayrton Valente, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Mississauga also got a goal from Nick Tetley as well. In addition, Mississauga received assists from Patrick Mooney, Cory Hyashi, and Matt Hore, who each chipped in one.

Joseph Pianta made 25 saves for the Jr. Sabres on 29 shots. Buffalo incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Austin Washkurak recorded 28 saves for Mississauga. The Chargers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. For Mississauga, Joseph Molinaro was ejected from the game.
