Burlington Cougars forwards Daniel Campbell (right) and Ryan Wilkinson (left) (photo credits - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) have confirmed their commitment to join the Salem State University Vikings beginning with the 2014-15 MASCAC season.

Daniel Campbell is a native of Kitchener, Ontario who joined the OJHL as a 17-year old member of the Mississauga Chargers in 2010-11.  After recording 14 points in 42 regular season games as a rookie, he returned to his hometown Junior 'B' Dutchmen in 2011-12, but was once again back in the OJHL last season with the St. Michael's Buzzers.  After only five games with the Buzzers, Campbell was moved to Burlington, where he would spend the next year and a half.  Recording 11 points in 28 games, he got his first taste of Junior 'A' playoff action, notching a goal in three post-season contests for the Cougars.  This season, Campbell was named one of the club's alternate captains and set career-highs across the board, including 11 goals, 27 assists and 38 points to finish second in scoring on the club.

Although a native of Burlington, Ontario, Ryan Wilkinson just finished playing his first year with his hometown Cougars.  After spending a year with the nearby Junior 'B' Stoney Creek Warriors, Wilkinson was off to Quebec, joining the QJAAAHL Terrebonne Cobras.  He would spend a year and a half in Terrebonne before finishing last season in Saint-Leonard.  He joined the Cougars this season and instantly became a leader with an 'A' sewn to his chest.  Wilkinson did not disappoint, recording 11 goals and 35 points to finish third on the club in scoring.

Congratulations to both Daniel and Ryan and best of luck in their collegiate careers!
