Brady leads Kingston over Trenton, 5-2

Adam Brady had one goal and two assists to lead the Kingston Voyageurs to a 5-2 victory over the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Brady beat Denny Dubblestyne with a shot 6:48 into the second period on the power play to make the score 3-1 Kingston. A high sticking penalty on Zach de Concilys had put Kingston on the power play. Alex Tonge picked up the assist. Brady dished an assist on Brandon OQuinn's goal that made the score 2-1 Kingston at 1:02 into the second period. He added another helper on Tonge's goal that made the score 5-1 Kingston at 1:17 into the third period.
The win gave the Voyageurs a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series.
Kingston forced Golden Hawks' goalies to work all game long, taking 31 shots and forcing 26 saves. Dubblestyne made 26 stops and Connor Hughes made zero.
Kingston also got points from OQuinn, who also had two goals and one assist and Tonge, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Brody Heleno also scored for Kingston. Other players who recorded assists for Kingston were Spencer Green, who had two and Mason Nowak, Cole Bolton, and Michael Casale, who contributed one each.
Trenton was led by Dylan Savory, who had one goal. Savory scored on the power play 8:47 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Golden Hawks had gotten the advantage when the Voyageurs' Casale was sent off for holding. Tyler Mayea provided the assist. Trenton also got a goal from Danny Liscio as well. In addition, Trenton received assists from Mathew Thompson and Hunter Fargey, who each chipped in one.
Sam Tanguay recorded 28 saves for Kingston. The Voyageurs incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Trenton incurred 34 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
