The 20-year old native of Trenton, Ontario is completeing his fourth full season in the OJHL after joining the loop as a 16-year old out of the Quinte Red Devils Midget 'AAA' program. O'Quinn joined his hometown Golden Hawks and posted a respectable 14 points in 8 games played as a rookie. After only 18 games in 2011-12, he was on the move to Division rival Kingston and he would spend the next two and a half seasons with the Voyageurs becoming a leader both on-and-off the ice. After getting his first taste of post-season action in 2012 with a march to the Division Final, ultimately falling to league runner-up Whitby, O'Quinn was ready to step up his offensive output the following year. Recording career-highs of 6 goals and 24 points during the regular season, he then posted six points on the club's remarkable run to game seven overtime of the Conference Final before falling to Newmarket. The veteran took his game to another level this season, quadrupling his scoring production, finishing third on the Vees with 24 goals, while also notching 45 points to finish fourth in overall scoring on the club.
Congratulations to Brandon and best of luck in his final junior post-season run!
