Oakville Blades forward Sean Kohler (photo credit - Jay Johnston/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Penn State University Nittany Lions beginning with the 2016-17 B1G Ten season.

The Oakville, Ontario native is a product of the Oakville Rangers Minor Midget 'AAA' program that captured the prestigious OHL Cup to finish off the 2012-13 season.  Recording 77 points in 69 games played with the Rangers, Kohler also got his first taste of OJHL action, suiting up for two games as an affiliate with the Aurora Tigers.  Following the season, Kohler would be selected by the Erie Otters in the 6th round, 106th overall, of the 2013 OHL Priority Selection and competed at the OHL Gold Cup for Team OMHA White.

He joined his hometown Blades this season as a 16-year old rookie and would record 11 goals and 20 points in 52 regular season games played.

Congratulations Sean and we look forward to seeing you continue your OJHL career!
