TEICHMANN NAMED DUDLEY MVP

Wellington Dukes netminder Tyson Teichmann (pictured - Teichmann receives Dudley Hewitt Cup MVP Award from Tournament Chair Don Cotton - photo credit: Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2014 Dudley Hewitt Cup after leading his team to the championship game.

Teichmann made 27 saves in the championship and also earned the Dukes' Player of the Game Award in falling 2-1 to the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots.

The lanky goaltender posted scintillating numbers throughout the tournament, including a 3-1 record with one shutout, a 1.50 goals against average and a .946 save percentage.

Other tournament award winners included Nathan Feric of the Patriots who led the Dudley Hewitt Cup in scoring with 10 points, and Patriots defenceman Niko Kovachis, who was named the Most Sportsmanlike Player.
