North York Rangers forward Adam Valadao (photo credit - Mike Ivall/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Curry College Colonels beginning with the 2014-15 ECAC Northeast season.

The Ajax, Ontario native recently completed his fourth full season in the OJHL, all as a member of the North York Rangers, helping the club achieve a level of success not seen in many years.  Joining the Rangers in 2010-11 as a 17-year old, Valadao steadily improved his performance and offensive output during each year of his career, becoming one of the Rangers 'go-to' guys the past couple of seasons.  His goal totals increased from 5 in 2010-11 to 13, 15 and 21 this past year.  His assists totals went from 13 to 20 to 28 to 40 helpers this past year.  And his point total went from 18 in 46 games played as a rookie to the second best total on the club in 2013-14 with 61 points in 53 regular season games played.  His post-season totals are just as impressive, notching 28 points in 28 games over the past two seasons as he was part of the club that upset the Buffalo Jr. Sabres en route to the South-West Conference Championship Series in 2012-13.

Congratulations to Adam on the commitment and best of luck at Curry College!
