Aurora Tigers alternate captain Adam DiBrina (photo credit - Amy Deroche/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Curry College Colonels beginning with the 2014-15 ECAC Northeast Conference season.

The Sudbury, Ontario native would play his minor hockey in his hometown, as well as playing two seasons for Sudbury in the NOJHL, while also being selected by the Sudbury Wolves in the 13th round, 245th overall, of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection.  He would be traded from the Junior Wolves to the Markham Waxers in July of 2011 and make his OJHL debut later that Fall.  The power forward would spend only one season in Markham, recording 14 goals and 28 points in 48 regular season contests.

With the Waxers franchise suspended following the season, DiBrina moved on to the Hamilton Red Wings.  After a quick start saw him record seven points in six games, he would be on the move once again, returning to the North Division as a member of the Aurora Tigers.  DiBrina finished the year seventh on the club in scoring with 16 goals and 31 points to help the Tigers capture their first North Division regular season title since 2007.  Facing a first round upset in the first round of the playoffs at the hands of the Lindsay Muskies, DiBrina and his teammates returned in 2013-14 to capture a second consecutive Division title, ultimately capturing the North-East Conference crown and finishing as runner-up for the OJHL Championship to the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots.

Congratulations to Adam and best of luck in the NCAA!
