The Lindsay Muskies and the Georgetown Raiders skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

Lindsay and Georgetown could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie.
The Muskies kept the Raiders' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jack LaFontaine made 35 saves on 38 shots.
Lindsay was helped by Logan DeNoble, who finished with one goal and one assist. DeNoble scored 4:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lindsay. Austin Eastman picked up the assist. Lindsay also got points from Eastman, who also tallied one goal and one assist. John Macdonald also scored for Lindsay. In addition, Lindsay received assists from Joseph Vocino and Brandon Washer, who each chipped in one.
Georgetown forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 22.0 minutes per game the Raiders had been spending in the box. Georgetown's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Lindsay power plays. The Muskies were unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Georgetown eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.
The Raiders were helped by Francois Cote, who had one goal. Cote scored 2:58 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Georgetown. Steve Hladin assisted on the tally. Georgetown additionally got points from Richard Court, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Georgetown also got a goal from David Perklin as well. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Jordan Brown, who had two and Eric Eustace and Blake Jones, who contributed one each.
Boyd Diclemente made 37 saves for Lindsay on 40 shots. The Muskies ended with nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major. Lindsay ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Troy Oakley was ejected from the game. Georgetown registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. For the Raiders, Kyle Allan was ejected from the game.
