CANADA EAST TO PLAY FOR BRONZE

Team Canada East fell to the powerhouse Americans 7-1 in the World Junior 'A' Challenge semi-final and will now face Team Russia with the bronze medal on the line.
Kingston Voyageur Alex Tonge scored the lone Canadian goal and now has two goals and three points in the tournament.
Thomas Novak had a goal and an assist to pace a balanced offence, and the United States earned the right to defend its gold medal at the World Junior A Challenge with a 7-1 semifinal win over Canada East on Thursday night.
