FRYER NAMED WJAC TOURNAMENT ALL-STAR
Aurora Tigers defenceman Callum Fryer (pictured during semi-final loss to U.S. - photo credit: Andy Devlin/Hockey Canada Images) was the only member of either Team Canada squad to be named to the All-Star Team at the 2014 World Junior 'A' Challenge.
The 18-year old blueliner has played the past two seasons for the Tigers, recording four points in 31 games played last year, while getting his first taste of post-season action during a lengthy playoff run that saw them capture the North-East Conference Championship. Earlier this season, he was named to Team OJHL Hawerchuk that competed at the 2014 Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge held in Toronto, before making Team Canada East and playing prominent minutes throughout the tournament.
Congratulations to Callum on a great tournament and his well-deserved recognition!
