Aurora Tigers rookie forward Cameron Morrison (photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish beginning with the 2016-17 Hockey East season.

The 16-year old Aurora, Ontario native made his OJHL debut playing three regular season games for the hometown Tigers last season while a member of the local York-Simcoe Express Minor Midget 'AAA' squad.  Following the season, the 6'3" power forward won the OHL Gold Cup as a member of Team OMHA White and was selected by the North Bay Battalion in the 3rd round, 44th overall, of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.  He made the jump to the OJHL full-time this season and has not disappointed, currently leading the team with 26 goals, while sitting fifth in overall scoring with 42 points in just 40 games played.

Congratulations to Cameron on the commitment with the prestigious University of Notre Dame!
