Trenton Golden Hawks alternate captain Matt Pizzo (photo credit - Amy Deroche/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Hobart College Statesmen beginning with the 2015-16 ECAC West season.

The Thorold, Ontario native joined the Golden Hawks this season after spending the previous two years with his hometown Junior 'B' Blackhawks, while prior to that he spent three years playing for Ridley College, where he graduated with honours.  Proof of the rearguards leadership abilities is the fact that the team nominated him an alternate captain during his first year with the club.  With a respectable 25 points in 47 games played thus far, Pizzo currently sits fourth in scoring among the team's blueliners, while playing an all-around game for the league-leaders.
