St. Michaels falls to Orangeville in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Orangeville Flyers' Darren Nesbitt scored 1:40 into overtime to beat the St. Michaels Buzzers, 3-2 (OT).

Orangeville was paced by Nesbitt, who registered one goal.

The Flyers kept St. Michaels' goalie busy throughout the game, and Mark Manolescu made 43 saves on 46 shots.

Others who scored for Orangeville included Kosta Likourezos and James McLaughlin, who each put in one. In addition, Orangeville received assists from John DiLorenzo and Scotty Del Zotto, who contributed one each and Connor Stack and Derek Topatigh, who each chipped in two.

The Buzzers' offense rang up 42 shots on Orangeville's net.

St. Michaels was helped by Joseph Berton, who had one goal. Berton scored 6:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Michaels. Noah Jordan assisted on the tally. St. Michaels also got a goal from Thomas Beretta as well. Other players who recorded assists for St. Michaels were Ian Edmondson, Marco Ferraro, and Ashur Elliot, who contributed one each.

Wyatt Pickrell rejected 40 shots on goal for the Flyers. Orangeville incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Buzzers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
