Bolton nets hat trick, leads Kingston to 8-2 win over Stouffville

A hat trick by Cole Bolton was the highlight in Voyageurs' 8-2 win against the Stouffville Spirit.
Bolton notched his first tally 13:13 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:12 into the second and at 6:47 into the second.
The Kingston Voyageurs forced Stouffville's goaltenders to work between the pipes, firing 38 shots and forcing 30 saves. Aaron Taylor made 22 stops and Conor McCollum made eight. Kingston stifled the Spirit's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Voyageurs outdid their season average for goals scored. Kingston has scored at the pace of 3.9 goals per game during the current campaign.
Kingston also had goals scored by Alex Tonge, who had three and Ryan Watson and Colin Tonge, who scored one goal each. In addition, Kingston received assists from Adam Moodie, Joey Rutkowski, Reid Russell, Daniel Urbani, and Rory McGuire, who contributed one each and Joey Beaudoin, Adam Brady, Alex Stothart, and Spencer Green, who each chipped in two.
Stouffville was helped by John Jon Loncaric, who grabbed one goal. Loncaric scored 2:43 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kingston. Michael Giacometti picked up the assist. Joseph Deveny also scored for Stouffville. More assists for Stouffville came via Tyson Bruce, who had one and Nathan Hudgin, who had two.
Urbani rejected 19 shots on goal for the Voyageurs. Kingston incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Spirit incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
