Colitto stymies Toronto Patriots, Toronto Jr. Canadiens wins 3-1

The Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens relied on the sparkling performance of Nathan Colitto in net to grab a 3-1 win against the Toronto Patriots Patriots.
The win by Toronto Jr. Canadiens broke a deadlock and gave the Junior Canadiens a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series.
Toronto Jr. Canadiens was sparked by Andrew Mullen, who registered one goal. Mullen scored 7:14 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Aaron Spivak assisted on the tally.
Toronto Jr. Canadiens also had goals scored by Michael Cuddemi and Anthony Repaci, who scored one goal each. More assists for Toronto Jr. Canadiens came via Matthew Ferrari, Andrew Pucci, Ryan MacSpadyen, and Justin Maiolino, who each chipped in one.
Toronto Patriots was led by Louis DiMatteo, who scored the team's only goal. DiMatteo scored 13:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto Patriots. Nicholas Geiser picked up the assist.
Nathan Colitto made 26 saves for the Junior Canadiens on 27 shots. Toronto Jr. Canadiens incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Junior Canadiens ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Kennedy Duguid was ejected from the game. The Patriots' starting goalie, Mathew Robson, made 15 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Emanuel Vella, who stopped 12 shots. Toronto Patriots incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
