CMUNT COMMITS TO UNION
Buffalo Jr. Sabres rookie forward Justin Cmunt (photo credit - Ken Czworka/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Union College Dutchmen beginning with the 2017-18 ECAC season.
The Amherst, New York native joined the Jr. Sabres this past season after having played 2013-14 with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Minor Midget 'AAA' squad that captured the GTHL title and finished as runner-up at the prestigious OHL Cup tournament. The 17-year old would finish sixth on the Sabres in scoring with 26 points in 51 regular season games, while adding a single goal during the club's first round, seven game series loss to the Georgetown Raiders.
