The 'Never Say Die' Kingston Voyageurs did it once again during game six, after trailing 1-0 entering the third period, for the second consecutive game, they fashioned yet another comeback to even the series at three wins each and send the OJHL Championship Series to a winner-take-all game seven.

After a couple of high-scoring affairs early in the series, both starting netminders have more than settled into their roles and have definitely been the difference makers through six games.  The pair once again posted a first period whitewash with Daniel Urbani stopping nine shots for the Vees and his counterpart, Mathew Robson, stopping ten shots for the Patriots.  Although there were a few chances at either end, both clubs seemed somewhat tentative and not wanting to make a mistake.

Similar to game six, the Patriots got a quick jump and would take an early 1-0 lead courtesy of the Nathan Feric line.  Defenceman Niko Kovachis fired a low hard shot that was stopped by Urbani, but rebounded into the slot, where it ultimately found its way onto the stick of Patriots' leading goal scorer Mitch Emerson, who buried his 14th of the post-season to sit third behind Kingston's Alex Tonge and Adam Brady in the overall playoff goal scoring race.  Kingston would generate a couple of scoring opportunities with the man advantage later in the frame, but ultimately couldn't find the back of the net and once again faced the potential of playing their final period of hockey this season.

Playing in their final home game of the 2014-15 season, the Vees finally broke through just over a minute earlier than they did in the previous game six to knot the game at one.  Joey Beaudoin would tally his sixth of the  playoffs at 8:24 with assists to Cole Bolton and Alex Stothart, sending the season-high crowd of 1,036 spectators into a frenzy.  The period continued with the teams once again trading chances and the netminders standing tall, until the Cole Bolton line once again worked their magic.  After some fancy stickhandling by Beaudoin, he found a wide-open Bolton, who made no mistake in beating Robson for his eighth of the playoffs to give the home side a 2-1 lead with just 1:42 remaining in the game.  Just under a minute later and with Robson on the bench, OJHL playoff leading scorer Alex Tonge iced the game with a little bit of old-fashioned hard-work which was rewarded with the empty netter; also his league-leading 20th goal of the post-season .

Final shots in the contest were 35-34 in favour of Toronto and after six hard-fought games, the total combined score sits even at 16-16 and the shots are just 201-199 in favour of the Patriots; setting up an epic battle for game seven.  Urbani's 34 save performance earned him the game's first star, while teammates Beaudoin and Bolton were named second and third stars respectively.

The deciding game seven will take place at Westwood Arena in Toronto on Wednesday, April 22 with puck drop scheduled for 8:00pm.
