St. Michael's Buzzers defenceman Luca Doctor (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Ryerson University Rams beginning with the 2015-16 OUA season.

The Toronto, Ontario native got his first taste of the OJHL as an affiliated midget out of the Toronto Red Wings 'AAA' program in 2011-12, playing four games as a member of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens, while notching his first Junior 'A' point, a goal.  The following year, Doctor joined the league fulltime with the Jr. Canadiens, recording 11 points in 46 regular season contests.  After spending the first part of the 2013-14 season in the BCHL with Alberni Valley, Doctor returned home mid-season, joining the Buzzers via a trade and tallying 8 points in his final 27 games of the season.  Spending the entire past season with St. Michael's, Doctor compiled the best offensive statistical season of his junior career, notching 7 goals and 29 points in 54 regular season contests to finish third on the club's d-corps in scoring.  His OJHL career came to a close following a first round loss to the eventual OJHL champion Toronto Patriots.

Congratulations to Luca and best of luck at the next level!
