HOGG COMMITS TO CONCORDIA-WISCONSIN

Cobourg Cougars forward Connor Hogg (photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons beginning with the 2015-16 NCHA season.

The London, Ontario native made his OJHL debut with the Cougars in 2011-12 as a 17-year old rookie. Joining the Cougars out of the London Jr. Knights Midget 'AAA' hockey program. Hogg was known to Cougars' fans for using his speed down the wing to create scoring chances or to backcheck and disrupt the opposition.

Hogg was named alternate captain for the 2014-15 OJHL season, and would become a fixture on the Cougars' special teams; scoring 10 power play points and adding another 4 shorthanded points last season. Hogg was the recipient of the Club's Top Defensive Forward for the 2014-15 OJHL season, and finished second on the club in scoring with 48 points in 54 games played. Connor ended his OJHL playing career with 120 points in 152 regular season games played.

"We are very excited to add a twenty plus goal scorer to our program," said Falcons Head Coach Jasen Wise. "Connor's skill set and high compete level will make him a dominating force at the Division III level. Our power play has now taken a major step forward and we look forward to seeing Connor in a Falcon's jersey this fall."

Hogg will not be alone on the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons as Cougar Taylor Gauld recently confirmed his committment to join the Falcons for the 2015-16 NCHA season.
