JOSLIN NAMED TIGERS HEAD COACH
Former Aurora Tigers assistant coach and national champion Mark Joslin (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has been named the new Assistant General Manager and Head Coach of the club entering the 2015-16 OJHL season.
A Richmond Hill, Ontario resident for 51 years, Mark brings well over twenty years of coaching and teaching experience to the Tigers, including ten years coaching in the OJHL.
Formerly a player in the league as a member of the Newmarket Flyers during the 1983-84 season, Joslin's past OJHL experience includes winning the Dudley-Hewitt Cup and Royal Bank Cup Championships as an assistant coach with the Aurora Tigers in 2006-07. Joslin has also coached in Pickering, Stouffville, and most recently was the Head Coach of the North York Rangers last season.
In addition to his coaching experience Mark is a skills development specialist working with numerous players at all levels of the game including; Anthony Peluso - Winnipeg Jets (NHL), Chris Tierney - San Jose Sharks (NHL), Connor McDavid - Erie Otters (OHL)/Edmonton Oilers (NHL), and Derek Joslin, Carolina Hurricanes (NHL).
