Buffalo Jr. Sabres netminder Nate Skidmore (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the SUNY Potsdam Bears beginning with the 2015-16 SUNYAC season.

The Syracuse, New York native joined the Jr. Sabres last season after having played the previous year in the CCHL with the Pembroke Lumber Kings and Gloucester Rangers organizations.  Skidmore would play the majority of the Sabres contests this past season, posting a 10-20-1 record with one shutout, a 3.73 goals against average and a .882 save percentage.  He also played in two post-season games as Buffalo took the regular season South-West Conference champion Georgetown Raiders to seven games.

Congratulations to Nate on the commitment and best of luck in the NCAA!
