Aurora Tigers netminder Jake Sabourin (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Elmira College Soaring Eagles beginning with the 2017-18 ECAC West Conference season.

The native of Cantonsville, Maryland joined the Tigers crease this season after spending the 2015-16 season with the Syracuse Stars Under-18 organization.  Playing for a non-playoff squad this season, Sabourin was fully committed to improving his play throughout the season, playing in 24 games for the young Tigers.  The lanky 6'4" netminder posted a 4.64 goals against average, as well as an impressive .895 save percentage while facing 850 shots for an average of almost 40 shots/game this season.
