CONDOTTA COMMITS TO UMASS LOWELL
Markham Royals captain Lucas Condotta (photo credit – Andy Corneau/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the UMass Lowell River Hawks beginning with the 2018-19 season.
The native of Georgetown is playing in his fifth season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. In 212 OJHL games, Condotta has 161 points (58 goals, 103 assists), including 40 points in 27 games this year. He was named the OJHL’s North/East Player of the Month for September.
During his second year with the Pickering Panthers, Condotta was traded to the Hamilton Red Wings, who became the Markham Royals the next season. He was named captain of the Royals in June 2016.
