MANIKIS COMMITS TO CLARKSON GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Kosta Manikis (photo credit – Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) of the Stouffville Spirit has confirmed his commitment to join the Clarkson University Golden Knights beginning with the 2020-21 season.
The 16-year-old from Richmond Hill joined the Spirit this season after a solid minor midget campaign with the Vaughan Kings.
“Kosta has real good offensive skills,” Spirit general manager Kenny Burrows said earlier this season. “He can score goals.”
The 6-foot centre has six goals and 10 assists in 25 Ontario Junior Hockey League games this year.
He was a fifth-round pick of the Sudbury Wolves in the 2017 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
