MAIA COMMITS TO ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Oakville Blades forward Thomas Maia (photo credit – Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers beginning with the 2019-20 season.
The native of Brampton joined the Blades this season after beginning his Ontario Junior Hockey League career with a 35-point campaign with the Milton Icehawks in 2016-17.
Maia has 12 goals and 30 assists in 41 games in Oakville this year.
He played his bantam and minor midget seasons with the Mississauga Rebels of the GTHL.
