MACEACHERN COMMITS TO ROBERT MORRIS
Connor MacEachern of the Cobourg Cougars (photo credit – Shawn Muir /OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Robert Morris University Colonials in Pittsburgh, PA beginning with the 2019-20 season.
The native of Brooklin, north of Whitby, joined the Cougars from the Central Ontario Wolves AAA midgets for their run to the RBC Cup championship last season.
He also played for the Whitby Wolves AAA program and the Port Perry MoJacks Jr. C team before coming to the OJHL.
He played for Canada East at the World Jr. A Challenge in Nova Scotia last fall.
MacEachern has 28 points for Cobourg this season.
His sister Maggie, a 16-year-old defenceman, has played internationally for Canada, too. She will attend Colgate University on an NCAA scholarship beginning in 2019.
