Hudson Lambert (photo credit – Brian Watts/OJHL Images) of the Orangeville Flyers has confirmed his commitment to join the Canisius College Golden Griffins in Buffalo beginning with the 2018-19 season.
The 19-year-old is tied for the lead in scoring – 48 points in 49 games – by defencemen in the Ontario Junior Hockey League
Last October, he was named first star by the Canadian Junior Hockey League and Kewl OJHL South-West Conference Player-of-the-Month after leading the conference with 18 points in just 12 games played
The native of Richmond Hill joined the Flyers last season after playing minor hockey with the Mississauga Reps and Don Mills Flyers in the GTHL. He helped Markham’s Bill Crothers Secondary School Colts win their first York Region high school championship in 2016.
Congratulations to Hudson and best of luck in the NCAA!
