NAZZARETT COMMITS TO MIAMI REDHAWKS
Rookie Zach Nazzarett of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres (photo credit – Ryan McCullough/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the NCAA Division 1 Miami (Ohio) University Redhawks beginning with the 2019-20 season.
The 17-year-old native of Cheektowaga, NY joined the Jr. Sabres from the Buffalo program’s 18U team early this season. He scored 20 goals and assisted on 15 others in 32 games for the Sabres 16U squad last year.
The 5-foot-6 forward had 42 points in 43 games for the Jr. Sabres this season. Buffalo was eliminated from the OJHL playoffs by the North York Rangers this week.
