Aurora Tigers goaltender Bradley Van Schubert (Photo by Ray MacAloney / OJHL Images) has committed to U Sport’s Royal Military College of Canada Paladins in Kingston beginning in the 2018-19 season.

The 6-foot-3 goalie had a 2.24 goals-against average and .927 saves percentage in 34 games in Aurora this season.

“I have always considered RMC and always wanted to have a military career,” said Van Schubert. “I am glad that I am now able to pursue both.”

The 21-year-old from Barrie played in the Ontario Hockey League from 2014-16, for Guelph, Owen Sound and North Bay.

The Barrie Colts AAA minor midget product played 11 games for the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OJHL last year.

Congratulations to Bradley and best of luck in U Sports!
