DUKES CAPTAIN DOYLE COMMITS TO D1 ALASKA-FAIRBANKS

Colin Doyle of the 2018 RBC Cup finalist Wellington Dukes (photo credit – Tom Bates/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the NCAA D1 Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks beginning with the 2018-19 season.

The 20-year-old played three seasons for the Dukes after a campaign with his hometown Jr. C Campbellford Rebels. He played minor midget with the AAA Quinte Red Devils.

Doyle accumulated 115 points (37G/78A) in 139 regular season games with Wellington.

The Wellington captain was named MVP of the 2018 OJHL playoffs after leading the Dukes to the title. They went on to win the Central Canada championship to advance to the RBC Cup in British Columbia.
